Product Returns and Policies
Modera Furnishings accepts returns for unassembled items within 30 days after you have received your delivery. Modera will charge a 20% restocking fee and a $60 pick up fee on all regular stock furniture returns. Your initial delivery fee is not refundable. Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund. Products that have already been assembled or modified are not eligible for returns or refunds. Modera does not accept returns on mattresses, box springs, or custom made or special order items. An example would be a custom made couch with custom picked fabric.
Non Returnable Items:
In the event that your item(s) arrive damaged or defective, Modera will offer a replacement at no charge to you. We will do our best to provide a solution immediately. Please note that you must note any damage or defects immediately upon delivery or assembly. Should you choose not to pursue replacements the damaged or defective products can be returned for a store credit as outlined in our return policy.
Cancellation requests are not accepted on items that have shipped or have already been prepared for shipping with a confirmed delivery schedule. A refusal of the item at delivery due to customer preference change will be considered a return and a credit will be issued to your original form of payment minus a 20% restocking fee.
In the event that your item is not able to be delivered and requires to be returned back to our warehouse, you will have 5 business days to contact Modera Furnishings by phone or email to schedule a re-delivery. Please note that another delivery charge will apply. If all attempts have been unsuccesful, your order will be cancelled and you will be charge a 20% restocking fee.
Receiving Your Product
Once your product is ready for shipment, we will call or email you to setup a delivery day and time. Please note that we will do our best to give you the shortest window as possible but on some days there might be up to a 6 hour window. Please make sure to inspect both the packaging and product upon delivery. If the product is damaged in any way shape or form, please let your installer or delivery driver know and email or call us immediately.
